Frost protection cables are designed to keep water and drainage pipe free from ice all year round.

The self regulating cables are fitted with a tempreture sensor so that when the external tempreture drops below 5°C the cable is then activated ensuring maximum protection is acheived.

The above guide is for pipe sizing up to 40mm diameter and it is assumed that all pipework is insulated using suitable insulated sleeves or lagging. If you require further assistance or if the pipe diameter that you wish to heat is larger than 40mm then please contact us.

These easy to install trace heating cables are fitted with a moulded plug, simply unpack, fasten to the length of pipe using aluminium foil tape or tie wraps and cover with pipe lagging to keep the fluid flowing throughout the whole winter - its cheaper than a burst pipe!
