Stating the obvious…

Ohhh….where do we start? There are loads of benefits to electric underfloor heating systems; we will start by stating the obvious ones such as underfloor heating takes up no wall space, is silent to run and maintenance free! Yes thats right no yearly inspections are required, and with no mechanical parts to breakdown it is extremely reliable.

Ideal Air Temperature

Underfloor heating provides an ideal air temperature profile in your room through the correct balance of radiant and convected heat. With traditional heating most of the heat is convected air, which rises making the ceiling a very warm and wasteful place. However 50% of warmth from electric underfloor heating is radiant heat allowing the floor to evenly distribute heat, which is absorbed by the people and objects in the room.

Also the radiant heat from underfloor heating dramatically reduces the constant air circulation which causes cold drafts and dust.

Radiators are an ugly nuisance which can take up valuable wall space in your room. They also cause discolouration and peeling of paintwork and wallpaper, with many people placing furniture in front of them which can block a great deal of the heat making them ineffective.

Electric underfloor heating removes all these problems and allows you the freedom to design your interiors the way you see fit and not around your radiators. It is perfect for most rooms and particularly if you want to save space or go for that minimalist approach.

And always remember cheap underfloor heating is only false economy!

Maintenance Free

Electric underfloor heating requires no maintenance expect for an electrical inspection every ten years which is tied in with your domestic electrical inspection anyway, unlike radiators and traditional heating systems that use water pipes and boilers that do require a yearly servicing.

Using electric floor heating cuts out the risk of a flood or a leak from water pipes that are prone to leakage and break downs, our heating products are all electric which gives you peace of mind through excellent reliability.

Minimal Effect on Floor Height

Electric underfloor heating is perfect for retro fitting into existing rooms, this is because we can keep the floor heights to a bare minimum, floor build can be as a little as 3mm in some cases which hardly make an impression of floor heights, this is perfect floor heights into existing rooms can be a problem and every millimetre counts.

Hygiene and Health

Radiators are considerable dust collectors and give off ideal moisture levels to support dust mites. Electric underfloor heating removes any chance of dust mites with zero moisture content and no dust collection. This will provide welcome news for asthma sufferers.

With no radiators on the walls, there is no risk of injury to little children burning themselves by touching scorching hot rads.
